Some friends bunk the class,
What is use of it,
If by YouTube, Wikipedia, you can pass.
Sitting in same room all day,
Listen to a person blabbering,
Student’s mind blowing away,
Can’t we ask why,
What not everyday is holiday.
Why we can’t stay at home,
In this age of internet,
Why we can’t stay with mom,
And study just through net.
This, seems to be the thinking,
That prevails in today’s world,
Classes are old fashioned,
Only for bookworms and nerd.
What about the other things,
The respect for your teacher,
The experience it brings,
The values we need to nurture.
Things that need human interaction,
Basic courtesy and respect for others,
Needed for the society to function,
Making friends and contacts,
To help in important life junction.
Are these not important any more,
Are these things, just a bore??
Present generation is smart and fast,
But they still face this dilema,
Weather to conserve or ditch the past.
God’s greatest gift to mankind
Is our body , soul and mind
Without these gifts even
Our existence will be blind.
So, why not enjoy these gifts
Why not do everything
That make our spirits lifts
Why do we need to care about
Any on this world’s shits.
This feels a great virtue to live by,
Enjoying life full and hard,
Drink, play, dance , don’t be shy,
Why sacrifice anything at all,
Sacrifice are great, feels like a lie.
You may feel like this,
Sacrifices has no bliss,
If you feel so, I am sorry
You are giving
Something great, a miss
True, sacrifices take away
Something you like
A close friend , memorables
Or a desired bike
But, there is a happiness,
Free from many distress,
Leaving something for others
May feel like a bless.
A mother wants a new handbag
So, with her friends, she can brag
But, instead she decided to take,
A cake for her children, she can bake.
Sacrificing her bragging for a cake,
What you feel
Is she more happy, or regret make her shake.
The satisfaction she will feel then,
Cannot be written with a pen.
A little regret for this feeling
Is what we call good dealing.
Everyone wants to enjoy their life
Think what happens,
If everyone do what they like,
Students will never study,
And play all day with their buddy.
Air station personal will sleep at night
Forgetting about sky full of flights.
Your father go to bar, to feel like a guy,
Instead of singing you a lullaby.
Soldiers will leave border to their fate,
As they are missing their mate.
Can you imagine such a world,
It will be like a flying bird,
Till it is blasted to shreds.
Sacrifices are the engines of this world,
That keeps it functioning and move it forward
Small and big ,sacrifices made by everyone of us,
Never get unawarded, for the world is are a plus,
In return you get, satisfaction, happiness and god’s own trust
Yesterday, we celebrated Bhai Dhuj, a festival today marks the end of festival season.
On this day, millions of sisters in India, give respect to their brothers by putting a tilak’* on their head. And brothers in turn pledge to protect their sisters from any harm.
With increasing incidents of crime against women in the cities, I plan to do something new
Wrote a poem
On the eve of this Bhai Dhuj
I plan to step in a new shoe
On this day
Brothers pledge to protect their sisters
From any danger , rapist or molesters
But what happens if we are not near them
Then, who is to be blame
To truly protect our sisters
We must make them self sufficient
Against any rapist or molesters
So this gift for these lovely ladies
To give them lots of blisters.
And then, gifted her a pepper spray to protect herself.
Rather then gifting just money, isn’t something that really protects your sisters is better. Think about it!
Thanks for reading
*tilak’ :a distinctive spot of colored powder orpaste worn on the forehead by Hindu men and women as a religious symbol
Sudama was a very close friend of Lord Krishna. They spend most of their childhood together. But when Lord Krishna became Dwarika Naresh (king of Dwarka) , poor Sudama went to Lord Krishna’s palace to beg for help to save his family from poverty.
The story is as such that when he reached the palace gates, he was stopped and harassed by the palace guards. Even when queen Rukmani saw him (she doesn’t know he was Krishna’s friend), she pushes him out.
Sudama was harassed until Krishna was told about his arrival. After that story takes completely opposite your.
Thousands of year later, when this story was being enacted at Mata ki Choki(religious function devoted to Goddess Durga), act takes an ironical turn.
When Sudama entered , instead of being harassed by palace guards he was welcomed cash. garlands and notes of 10 rupees by all the devotees around.
It is tradition, where you welcome the pandli members (those who sing Bhajans (devotional songs), and may entertain with some acts relating to mythology) with garlands and some money.
Now, the hands of poor Sudama were filled with some serious cash(zoom the pic). With backstage a little far away, he had no choice but to carry on with the act as it is.
This incident is really an irony and funny to see the clash of Indian traditions.
Religious and funny. The combination don’t seem often.
See the spelling mistakes. lol. 😂😂 is a advertisement pamphlet of a beautician working near my house.

Many like her who do not have access to higher education due to financial condition of their families , instead opts for such professions that they can start to earn after a few months training.
They are also not bad in their work. They seems to be quiet trained in their work from the reviews I have got.

That’s why you will find funny adds like this.
May be it is a promotional strategy. If it is, I must say it is a good one (attracts attention).😂😂

Near 4 am in the morning, I had a dream. Now I only remember why was I afraid of it.
I remember TV flashing news that Pakistan Army has killed 10,000 Indian soldiers in the worst ever cease fire violation. PM Modi has thus declared war on Pakistan.
Video shows our military officials sitting in a planning room deciding the best route for nuclear missiles.
And.. I woke up.
I realized it was just a dream but the fear was still there.
I know what a nuclear war means (will mean).
Both India and Pakistan are nuclear powers. Both have stockpile of nukes may be not in thousands but surely in 100s.
I went to bathroom and drank some water. I look out of the window of the kitchen. I can see Nirmala anti(our neighbor that lives in the next block, humming and starting her daily chores. She is a nice person and a lovely mother who loves her children.
Then, I imagined a blast that will brighten this night. I will be able to see her clearly. But I don’t think , I will see this happiness (that I am seeing now), on her face.
Hence, I will prefer the dark .
A single nuke can destroy not just a city but the entire world of Nirmala anti. And many more worlds like hers.
A war more between India and Pakistan will mean irreversible destruction not only in the 2 nations but the entire world. Destruction of the specie known as human.
Because it is proved that if 100 nukes are blasted in a area in a short period. It will be enough to end the world as we know it. The residue gases poisonous gases will cover the entire atmosphere blocking out the sunlight (that is the life energy of this planet) and bringing in the ice age , for several 100 years.
All plants will die and then remaining animals and of course us.
Mother earth will survive even then. She will spread life again. But we shall not be a part of it. May be it will be better that way.
It is a naked truth that Pakistan is supporting several terrorist groups. Their hatred for India is so much that they are supporting those who are killing their own children, their own families. What kind of humans are they?
If this led to a war….
You may feel this is not your war, . But are wrong. Even if you are afar from these 2 nations. This way will find you.
Therefore, it is the duty of every one of us, of every nation to prevent this war. Pakistan must be pressurised from every side , by every nation to stop it’s support to terrorist and to improve relation with India. Because it not not the duty of only India and a few countries to maintain peace.
As in the face of destruction every nation (weather super power or not) will be equal. Everything in the end will be destroyed .
Will most of the things that comes to WhatsApp is rubbish. But some messages may force you to think. Some may even force you to doubt the ways you live and perceive life. One such message is this
English translation “There is only one different between Parsad and food. People fill their plates with much for. Even then they threw it. But they even eat a single grain of parsad that had fallen on the ground. Waste plates of food but can’t let a single grain of parsad be wasted. If we can assume normal food is Parsad, then nobody will sleep hungry in this world “
Parsad ,in Hinduism, is food that is offered to God as a tribute for his blessings. When god has taken a small share (or we assume good has taken it) , the remaining is returned to devotees
Parsad has great significanse in this great religion. Parsad is given to us by God himself/herself. It is a form of his blessing.
You cannot refuse it even if you have diabetes (parsad is usually sweet). And wasting it is considered a sinful act. I have seen people picking Parsad from the floor that has mistakenly fallen and eating.
This is the kind of respect we give to parsad. Because it is considered blessings of god in the form of food. And who will want to waste that?
On the other hand, we are not so respectful to normal food. Why? Because it is normal. It doesn’t give any divine blessing. So we take it for granted. We fill our plates with everything and eat what we like and test goes in dustbin.
Is this right?
Of course not. Do you know that 805 million people of the 7.3 billion people in the world, almost one in nine, were suffering from chronic hunger.
3.1 million children die every year due to under nourishment. That is 41%of total children’s death every year.
….While the irony is that the world produce enough for everyone. It is a fact started by UN.
For the world as a whole, per capita food availability has risen from about 2220 kcal/person/day in the early 1960s to 2790 kcal/person/day in 2006-08.
So why do many people go hungry? Why do many children die for to under nourishment?
That is because the good you waste. That good I waste, we skill waste. Approximately, one-third that is 1.3 billion tonnes of food is wasted every year.
Is this not a very disturbing fact?
The food is the fuel of human body. It takes on many resources like water oxygen, fertilizers, sweat of our farmers and many more to grow.
It is the life itself. And does life is not a blessing of the Almighty? So how normal food can be less than any Parsad? And it in okay of this blessing goes into dustbin or down that drain? Would you also treat Parsad like this?
I remember when I was a kid I usually lift my meals incomplete. Seeing this my grandmother used to tell me “it is not right. Every chapati, every grain of rice, every spoon of dal have Anndevta (God of food) sitting in it. If I wasted anything he will get angry. It will be an utter disrespect for him. If you will waste him, then he will waste you.
This meal you are eating is very precious. There are thousands of people who will kill for it.”
At that time I thought it was just a bluff that were told to children. But growing up I realized most of our is true.
Food we eat is no leads than blessing of God. So it is Parsad in every sense.
Therefore, we should never take it for granted. We should respect it as we respect Parsad. It is NOT wastable.
Pledge now that you will never waste good. Learn to estimate how much estimate how much food is actually required in your home. Eat to live and not live to eat.
Even if something is left, try not let it decompose and not throw out. Try that it teach and needy. Also spread awareness about it.
Believe me , it will be the true devotion of the Almighty. It will give much more blessings than eating Parsad.
